As in it's always nice to hear from 'em...it can get a little lonely and removed out here...and it isn't even winter yet. People are pretty much very nice, and go out of their way to make me feel welcome, which is a very good thing. I get all kinds of invitations to all kinds of gatherings, and make it a point to attend liberally. There is a football/birthday party on Saturday, and I kind of feel like dropping by the church on Sunday to see Fathers Vasily and Victor.
There has been some loose talk about some of us going in on a satellite dish. I think we can get it installed, but there will be the small matter of a TV. Still, the chance to follow the football season might be kind of nice. Maybe...
