And eleven more to go in this school year. Basketball season is drawing to a close, and testing season draws nigh. After that comes culture week, and the short run down to the end of the school year. I talked to a company rep today about ordering caps and gowns for the seniors, and it will be prom before you know it.

All that notwithstanding, there is a huge load of things to get done before we leave. Lots of course work and recording. We are working many hours of the day and night to get it all done. And there are requests for even more. Only so many hours in the day, and it is nice to have a couple to oneself. But it is hard, when you see all the need, to say "no." Balance out here is a very tricky thing.

I had my last formal evaluation of the school year today, another rite of passage. The daylight is staying with us for a longer time each day. It won't be long before summer is here, a brief, but welcome respite in the North. All things turn...
